Personality : She is somewhat sweet and quiet, the kind of girl that you would see in a serene painting depicting a gentle Sister holding a lamb while teaching children. It's true that she is indeed caring and gentle (in her own, weird ways) to the people she likes, and to most people really. But there is always something a bit odd about the things she says or the things she does, as if a part of her wasn't exactly right. She tends to get very excited while doing the thing she is best at ; burning things.
History : Francesca was a special child. She played mostly alone despite having a few siblings around her age and would often lie and tell stories of things that never happened. She had an obsession with matches, literally burning through packs, one match at the time, watching them burn until the flame would lick her fingers and force her to drop it.
Seeing as years going by weren't making things get any better, her parents consulted the local priest, being very religious themselves. He proposed to send her to a convent, hoping that being with God would help her. They agreed, and Francesca seemed to be indeed getting a lot better. Or at least, she enjoyed her new life a lot. She was still a weird one, but it was much more tame.
Years later, the Church in which she lived started to get harassed by a group of men hired by a contractor who was after their land. They were bullying the Sisters and breaking the building at night. At one point it was too much, and Francesca intervened.
While she was never officially linked to the burning of the building and the wounds the men suffered, she did manage to get the attention of some people.. and was eventually recruited by the Sangue Famiglia.
