Story
The Sisters of Sorrow. A special, secretive order of nuns who work as exorcists under the orders of an unknown high figure in Rome/the Vatican. They travel all over Europe and sometimes to the Americas, where they are called upon to save the lives of children and families overtaken by ghosts and demons. Their work is never publicized, never rewarded and gruesome. But someone has to do it, right?
Sister Francesca is one of them. Every future Sister of Sorrow is recruited very young, as soon as they show potential... usually through a very private encounter with the supernatural. Such was the case for Francesca di Veneto. She entered an all-girls private school in Rome at the age of twelve, where she was given academic and religious classes. She became a novice at the age of sixteen and took her vows a couple of years later.
In the recent months, more cases of possession and haunting have appeared in the area and she has been sent to investigate and help, as much as possible.


Personality
Francesca has always been a very kind, gentle child. She was always determined to please her parents by succeeding in her studies and learning proper manners. But being a single child, she was a bit introverted and liked to talk and play with imaginary friends more than she liked being around other children her age.
Years at an all-girls school gave her more social skills, and she made friends, opening up to the world. Her travels also allowed her to discover other cultures and customs as well.
Francesca might be a bit too inclined to forgive people or trust that they will do the right things - she believes there is good in everyone.

Likes
Cute/Sexy underwear : she has a very defined attraction towards those, though she mostly shops through catalogues and mail-orders and keeps that fetish a secret.
Reading : mostly romance novels, but she claims she thinks they are stupid... it's a love/hate type of liking.
Sweets : candies, pastries, etc...

Dislikes
Alcohol : gets drunk really quickly.
Cooking, "womanly" chores : she really just sucks at those.
Mice and rats : they really creep her out - she's the kind that jumps on a chair or table and screams when she sees one.

Other
While her native language is Italian, she also speaks/writes/understands French, English and Latin.
She can play the piano and violin. She has a pretty decent voice and enjoys singing at the choral.
She seems unable to take care of any kind of plants at all - she's the opposite of a green thumb, instead ruining whatever plants she takes care of.

NOTE : This is a pretty interesting character for me to play. I have no intimate knowledge of religion since I am not a believer. and have been raised in an atheist family. I am trying, however, to be close enough to the "truth" to make it more believable, while going on the supernatural/fantasy-ish side of things.
I have no wishes to offend anyone with my portrayal of a completely fabricated religious order/original character who happens to be a nun with a weird underwear fetish.
